This year, conference sessions and the trade show will be held at the Salt Lake City Marriott Downtown. A limited number of both government and non-government rate rooms have been blocked for SSTC 2012 attendees. Reservations will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis while quantities last so we encourage you to book yours early!

Attendees staying in the SSTC block at the Salt Lake City Marriott Downtown will receive complimentary wi-fi access in their guestroom.

TRANSPORTATION

Salt Lake International Airport is just 10 minutes from downtown. Taxis, limousines, busses, and shuttles provide airport service to anywhere in the valley and to local ski resorts. One-way taxi fare from the airport to downtown is approximately $14.

From downtown, the TRAX light-rail system makes it easy to move around the city. The convention center and conference-contracted hotels reside within the "free fare" zone.

CLIMATE

Spring is mild enough for golf in the valley while still offering good skiing at the mountain resorts. Expect light jacket temperatures.

Salt Lake has all of the amenities of a major metropolitan city with the warm, welcoming friendliness of a small western town. Salt Lake is an urban center that's very user-friendly and safe. It's the towering peaks of the Wasatch Mountains to the East and North that define Utah's tree-lined capital. The city also offers a wide spectrum of cultural options with nationally acclaimed symphony, opera, theatre, modern dance, and ballet. Salt Lake is home to the world-famous Mormon Tabernacle Choir, several professional theater troupes and two nationally acclaimed modern dance companies.
