Dr. John Launchbury

Dr. John Launchbury is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Galois Connections, Inc. He has successfully partnered with the National Security Agency (NSA), Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR), and General Dynamics Decision Systems (GDDS) in various dimensions of Cross Domain Solutions. Launchbury's passion is to expose the potential of these techniques to pervasive problems in Information Assurance through the development of strong partnerships between customers and Galois' high assurance engineering teams.
Launchbury received a First in Mathematics from Oxford University, and his PhD won the national Computer Science prize. As a computer science Professor, he published extensively on his work in developing fundamental mathematical techniques applicable to High Assurance Software Engineering.
