Novell's Approach to Linux Migration

Organizations are becoming convinced of the many cost, performance, security, and flexibility benefits of Linux and open source solutions over proprietary offerings. Many have already begun the process of evaluating, and, in some cases, implementing, Linux and open source alternatives in their desktop and data center environments. Novell has begun the process of migrating to Linux in both the data center and on the desktop. This session will discuss Novell's approach to Linux migration, share some lessons learned, and what initial steps should be for your organization.
