Booth Title: TNI Europe Limited
Booth Number: 540
TNI Europe Limited Logo
DESCRIPTION:

TNI Europe Limited is a leading supplier of software tools to world-wide clients requiring real-time software solutions. Current vertical markets include Aerospace, Space, Defence, and Transport. Its software products support standards such as DO178B and Avionics Architecture Description Language (AADL) through cooperation with key international organizations such as the Special Interest Group on Ada (SIGADA), Ada Europe, National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and the European Space Agency (ESA). The company markets software tools supporting a modeling approach to software development. This approach employs 'State of the art' techniques including UML2.0, Hard Real-Time (HRT) Hierarchical Object-Oriented Design (HOOD) and requirements traceability. HRT HOOD is the latest version of the real-time embedded software development method HOOD originally developed for the ESA. It covers architectural and detailed design, documentation and code generation and is particularly suitable for the development of mission critical systems in Ada, C, or C++. The software tools offered by TNI Europe Limited operate on UNIX, Windows, and Virtual Memory System (VMS). Data bridging tools are available to port data between platforms, and reverse engineering tools are available to capture an initial design from source code whether or not it was previously generated by a software tool. Software tools offered in these markets include STOOD which is widely used in the space satellite market, Airbus, and helicopter developments; CP HOOD which is used extensively in the development of many military aeroplanes including Eurofighter, Tornado, Nimrod, Hawk and Harrier; REQTIFY, a powerful, yet non-intrusive requirements traceability tool and CONTROLBUILD, a comprehensive tool which covers the design, coding and platform testing of industrial automation systems. STOOD is currently being employed on the Airbus A380 project and offers a UML 2.0 /HRT HOOD capability as well as being one of the earliest tools to support the exciting new AADL standard for Avionics systems.
