Ivy Hooks is the CEO of Compliance Automation Inc., and is a
recognized requirements expert who has trained and spoken
to audiences worldwide. She had a 20-year career at NASA
Johnson Space Center (JSC) where she was a member of the
Space Shuttle Design Team and held positions including
Separation System Integration Manager, Verification Manager
and Branch Chief of the Shuttle Flight Software
Development. She also served as manager in the Space
Shuttle Program Office and on staff to the Director of
Engineering and the Center Director. Ms. Hooks received NASA’s
Exceptional Service Medal and the Washington, DC, Jaycee’s
Outstanding Young Civil Servant Award.
