Dr. David A. Cook is an Associate Professor of Computer Science at Stephen F. Austin State University. Previously, he worked
as a Verification, Validation, and Accreditation agent in
the Modeling and Simulations area, supporting the Airborne
Laser program. He has 30+ years experience in software
development and management. He was Associate Professor and
Department Research Director at U.S. Air Force Academy and
former Deputy Department Head of Software Professional
Development Program at Air Force Institute of Technology. He
also has consulted for the Software Technology Support
Center for over 15 years.
Dr. Cook has a PhD in Computer Science from Texas A&M University.
