Charles A. Harris is a Senior Software Engineer for the Boeing
Company in Mesa, AZ. He is responsible for the Systems Engineering (SE) impact assessment of customer-directed configuration changes. He has presented tutorials on System of Systems (SoS) requirement processes at Systems and Software Technology Conference (SSTC) 2007 & 2008. He has been deeply involved in the acquisition, test, and evaluation of information technology controlled military systems since 1984 when he became a member of the B-1B Initial Operational Test and Evaluation Team at Edwards AFB. Since then, he has applied and evolved his expertise in the area of Information Technology (IT) controlled systems engineering on airborne and other weapon systems.
