"Implementing a Work Study Group Program"
Monday 26 April 3:30 PM - 4:15 PM
Track 6

Training is a challenge for most organizations. Training material budgets are usually limited, and training is often targeted for subjects that meet the immediate needs of the projects to which the employees are assigned. Employees often have little say in what training they are provided. Work Study Groups are an innovative way to help address these challenges. They are also an effective way to explore technologies and new processes, providing benefit to both employees and the company. The process is scalable from a handful of interested individuals to an entire enterprise.

This presentation will provide guidance on implementing a successful Work Study Group program at your company. You will learn how to start the program, how to execute it, and how to address common problems that you may encounter. The emphasis will be on the practical aspects of implementing a Work Study Group program and addressing the challenges.
