Priscilla E. Guthrie

Priscilla Guthrie became the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense, Deputy DoD Chief Information Officer in December, 2001. In this role, her primary focus is on delivering the capabilities that enable netcentric warfighting and operations.

Guthrie came to DoD with technical, program and general management experience in the IT, automotive and government businesses gained over a long career at TRW Inc.

She earned a BS in electrical engineering from Pennsylvania State University and an MBA from Marymount University.

Guthrie is an active participant on several advisory boards for the Penn State College of Engineering. She has received the College’s Outstanding Engineering Alumna award and is a Penn State Alumni Fellow.
