They are available to support working sessions, provide one-on-one consulting and develop broader approaches to systems level problem definition and solutions in the following areas: process improvement (assessment, planning for process improvement, infrastructure, evaluation, change management); life-cycle methodologies (purpose and scope, characteristics, assessment, models); project planning and tracking (project plans, relationship to related disciplines such as quality assurance, configuration management and testing, schedules, budgets, actuals); software engineering (relationship to systems engineering, requirements definition, data modeling, object oriented methodology, high level design, validation and verification); decision support (characteristics of decision making, decision modeling, types of decision support systems); quality assurance (reviews, audits, relationship to systems and software engineering activities); configuration management (configuration identification, status accounting, reports, configuration audits); Software Configuration Management (SCM) tool selection; SCM tool customization, training, and mentoring; Computer-Based Training (CBT) education for SCM Tools such as Merant’s PVCS Dimensions and PVCS Professional Suite including Version Manager and Tracker.
