Green Hills Software’s life-cycle data for INTEGRITY-178B includes considerations for compliance to all appropriate DO-178B Level A objectives.
INTEGRITY-178B is derived from Green Hills Software’s INTEGRITY™ product. INTEGRITY is an ARINC-653 compliant RTOS developed for a broad class of mission-critical embedded systems. INTEGRITY allows multiple software applications to share a common hardware platform and is designed such that any error in one application cannot prevent another application from continuing to operate. As such, the INTEGRITY product provides complete time, space, and resource partitioning between applications operating on the same hardware platform. Full partitioning is a base attribute of INTEGRITY from which INTEGRITY-178B is derived. On this basis, INTEGRITY-178B allows applications that have been assigned different DO-178B software levels to run concurrently on the same processor.
