The Air Force Public Key Infrastructure System Program Office (AF PKI SPO) is part of Headquarters Electronic Systems Command\Network Services Division (ESC/DIWS). We are charged with implementing the Department of Defense (DoD) PKI within the Air Force Community. The DoD has established a PKI to support cryptographic functions. The National Security Agency (NSA) has Program Management Office (PMO) responsibilities, while the Defense Information Security Agency (DISA) is responsible for deploying the core infrastructure. The infrastructure is made up of the personnel, policy, procedures, components, and facilities to enable cryptographic functions.
