In this, our 24th year, the Systems and Software Technology Conference will explore various technologies which will allow us to enhance, advance, and modernize the software-intensive systems that have become pervasive in our defense portfolio. We will explore the tools, the processes, and the ideas which will increase the security of systems that are depended upon by our warfighters. Identity management and authentication, network security, and information assurance are all critical topics now being handled by our defense community.

The need to keep our complex systems relevant and able to meet changing requirements in a tightening budget environment are topics that must be addressed. Open Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, SOA are all terms that the modern developer has to incorporate into their thinking in order to keep ahead in a warfighter environment where systems must talk to each other and remain useful for increasingly longer periods of time.

Cyber Security is a topic area that more and more is required from EVERY participant in order to keep ahead in the terrorism-threatened world that we continue to face for the foreseeable future. Cloud Computing and Agile Development are areas that are increasing in demand and capability.

Come join us in networking with your colleagues at SSTC 2012 and help us Enhance, Advance, and Modernize our War Fighting Technologies.
